Pink Saturday - Fall addition II

Welcome to Pink Saturday's Fall addition II
todays post is about fall decorations and colors
first up I am sharing with you a very
special piece I have.  It belonged to my grandmother
this footed compote is over 100 years old.
I love it
inside I have placed glass blown
orange carrot, yellow pepper
and a green (of course) cucumber.
I found these about 10 years ago at a gun show in California,
before California outlawed the shows (such a shame).

Next up, a tall tin bucket my husband brought home to me, along with some other items
you can see them here
add some silk sunflowers in yellows and orange.

I decided to place it here under the eagle DH made, the arrowheads
his parents and grandparents collected many, many years ago,
and my lamp with the wild animal and pine lamp shade I made.
I really like it and think it may be a year round addition to our Tin Shack.
I love falls colors, they are so warm and claming

Have a beautiful fall weekend, it won't be long now
until the snow comes to stay for a long time.
May God richly bless you.

Pink Saturday - Tags and Winners

WaHoo another Pink Saturday
I sure do hope your week has been filled with God's blessings

How exciting to be a featured blog this week.

I want to share with you some Crazy Quilted tags I created

What is so fun about CQ  (crazy quilting) is that it is no holds bared.
You can put whatever suits you fancy on these items
Please click on the picture for a closer look.
I have not done any CQ in awhile but looking at these little gems again
makes me want to get out my needle, threads, and beads.

See the spider web and spider in the upper right?

I hope you have enjoyed looking at these, if you have any questions on how
to do CQ please let me know.  It is not something I thought I would
ever do, but my DIL asked for a wall hanging and that began
the journey.

These little tags are nice to do because you can complete one rather quickly,
compared to the wall hanging, which took a year.

I know your all wondering who won the birthday gifts from
my birthday party last week.

Jeannette Aurora of  The Crafty Hippo
and
April  from Abramyan Avenue

Congratulations ladies, I will be contacting you to get your addresses.

Thank you to everyone for helping me celebrate my birthday
and to Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound
for hosting Pink Saturday
God's blessing to each of you.
