Pink Saturday

Welcome to Pink Saturday. As I was checking out Penny's blog The Comforts of Home she was talking about sharing a tutorial on mosaic work (her specialty) over on The Katillac Shack, and while reading Penny's tutorial I saw the link for Pink Saturday being hosted by How Sweet the Sound. Upon checking it out, I decided to join the fun. Please go and check out all the other blogs that are posting something pink for you to enjoy. I have only just begun to go down the list and found wonderful, wonderful blogs to explore.

Today I wanted to share something old and something new....IN PINK!

If you have been following my Wyoming blog, you know we are adding to our kitchen. With the addition of the new cabinets I decided I wanted to change the knobs. So I pulled out the antique knobs my mother-in-law, Letha, gave me several years ago to put them on the doors. You see there are several pretty colors, and I will be mixing them, it will be fun.

I had planned on doing the drawers with these, as well, until............................

I found these pink bin pulls, ON SALE, regular 14.99 for 1.98.........I had to have them and at this price I could not tell myself no. LOL.. These now dress all 11 drawers in my kitchen.

Thank you for stopping by. This blog is about decorating my Tin Shack, which is in what I call
Rustic Cottage. I hope you will visit my other blogs as well, here are the links for you.

Our New Life in Wyoming here I share with you the move and building of our homestead in Wyoming
Big Horn Mountain Creations is where I share my adventures in quilting, crazy quilting and other artistic endeavors.

Today, 'tis cold up here, near zero, so I need all the little pink rays of sunshine I can gather 'round and your blog certainly has helped to warm my pinkie ♥.

Happy Pink Saturday Gail...
I love your post. Those drawer pink pulls are exquisite. They are the perfect selection. But my question is, "What are you going to do with the beautiful knobs you had now?" I can't wait to see. I love blue and those blue ones are so exquisite. They are just breath taking. The color of ice blue. What fun.

I have scrolled through, and I love the making of your hutch. It is so beautiful. You Sweet Dream pillows are just precious. My gosh, you have been busy. I love the curtain that you made for your living room window, and the use of copper piping. What an element of surprise? I love it...

I love your kitchen. Girl you have the space most women dream about. Love the plate rack, how devine is that. SO beautiful. For a Tin Shack, it is mighty fancy. I adore it. Can't wait to see what you share next. I have signed up to follow your blog. Where are we going next?

Please stop by for tea and explore my blog home a little bit. I would love to have the company. I would be honored if you signed up to follow me as well.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Hi! Looks like we're not alone (being new to Pink Saturdays). I've not gotten very far in looking - it takes time. But it's fun. Thanks for stopping by my Dee-vine Ms Bo-vine post. Those are some interesting knobs (the multi-colored ones) and the pink ones are very neat. I keep getting inspired by so many -- there's so much to do and try ... thanks! Jenn
